The Centre has a network of Departmental Representatives who provide a link between the Centre and individual institutions. Through them, we are able to assess more effectively both the learning and teaching needs of the community and those of individual departments.
Our aim is to have a Departmental Representative in every chemistry, physics, forensic science and astronomy (or related) department in every UK Higher Education Institution, to ensure we represent all UK HEIs. This is an ongoing activity due to inevitable changes in departments. Therefore we are always looking for, and welcome, new members to act as Departmental Representatives.
Please click here for a current list of Departmental Representatives. If you would like more information or would like to become a Representative, please e-mail the Centre.
Each year we hold a Departmental Representatives Meeting to thank our Representatives for their work. This allows our Representatives to find out what the Centre has been doing and to have a say in our future activities.
The next annual Departmental Representative Meeting will be held on 18 - 19 May 2010 in Leeds
