Internationalisation

The theme of internationalisation covers a range of topics. These include supporting international students, the internationalisation of the curriculum, international collaboration between academics and institutions and the bologna process.

European Chemistry Thematic Network (ECTN)

The ECTN provides a forum for the analysis and study of the state of development of education and training in Europe in order to encourage and improve its quality on a European dimension. Its philosophy is to emphasise the teaching dimension of university activity.

European Physics Education Network (EPEN)

The EUPEN is a consortium composed of Physics departments from 24 European countries. Its main activity consists of a comparative study of Physics Higher Education across Europe.

International Visitors

The Centre hosts regular national lecture tours of distinguished physical science academics to talk on pedagogic themes. In 2009, David Hestenes visited from the University of Arizona.
