Policy
We work with partner organisations and national bodies to inform, influence and interpret policies that affect learning and teaching in higher education. We aim to provide an authoritative and independent voice.
Our work in this area includes fostering robust debate, responding to consultations and creating forums for new thinking.
We help to shape policy by responding to consultations which impact on the student learning experience.
We provide a forum for individual senior managers in higher education institutions in the UK. Through the ‘PVC Network’, Deputy Vice Chancellors, Pro Vice Chancellors and Vice Principals have the opportunity to share successful strategies for enhancing the quality of the student experience and managing learning and teaching.
National focus
We recognise that each of the four nations of the UK (England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales) have specific needs which we work to address with all relevant national partners.
