Interdisciplinary Teaching and Learning Group
- Status: complete
The Academy's ITLG was set up in 2005 to explore all facets of interdisciplinary teaching and learning. This included investigating the student experience, examining the ways in which institutions encourage or discourage cross-disciplinary collaboration (in teaching), exploring how Subject Centres can support staff teaching on interdisciplinary programmes and supporting staff who do not have an obvious Subject Centre home.
The Disciplines in Dialogue publication below was based on an event around the sustainability of the London 2012 Olympics.
The book listed below has three chapters that were based on presentations from the ITLG's Disciplines in Dialogue II conference, which was held at the University of Birmingham in July 2006.
