Furthering the Involvement of Disabled Students in Higher Education Institutions

This project has now been completed.

The Higher Education Academy and Equality Challenge Unit (ECU) are working with 7 institutions in England and Wales to further the involvement of disabled students, as part of developing a more inclusive culture.

Aims

This developmental programme aims to support higher education institutions in England and Wales to mainstream the involvement of disabled students in the creation, review and implementation of institutional practice and procedure.  We support 7 institutions to increase and embed the engagement of disabled students in a strategic and an ongoing basis within institutional policy and practice.
