Briefings on Employability 1: Issues for Employers

This Briefing looks at student employability from a graduate employer perspective.

After describing the skills and attributes that employers value in graduates, the employers role in helping students to acquire these and enhance their employability is discussed. Employers can contribute to work awareness building and offer work experience and skills training, contribute to curriculum development, and provide resources to help students to be aware of and articulate their employability.
