Assessment and Feedback Change Programme

It is widely acknowledged that assessment drives student effort and that feedback has a profound impact on learning. Yet students in most UK institutions rate assessment and feedback as the weakest elements of their university experience on the National Student Survey each year.

The Assessment and Feedback change programme will use the model developed through the TESTA (Transforming the Experience of Students through Assessment) project to facilitate institutional teams in enhancing their assessment and feedback practices.

Teams from the institutions listed below are participating in the Assessment and Feedback Change Programme.

University of Birmingham - Birmingham Assessment for Learning Initiative (BALI)

Keele University - Using the TESTA process to review and develop opportunities for diverse student assessment processes

London Metropolitan University - Promoting Student Engagement with Feedback (PSEF)

Dundee University - FLEX – Facilitating Learner Enquiry and Exchange

Robert Gordon University - Feedback/Feedforward – being effective

Coventry University - Coventry University Phoenix Programme for Assessment (CUPPA)
