SMEs as future partners: Lessons Learnt from EU Projects for SMEs and HEIs

This paper provides suitable measures for HEIs intending to work with SMEs in the future. It also provides insights into the benefits of collaboration for HEIs at EU level, while highlighting some of the problems that open innovation might present for HEIs wishing to collaborate with SMEs in the future.
