The Development and Testing of an Automated Individual Feedback System for Practical and Essay Questions

The recent National Student Survey showed that feedback to students was an ongoing problem in HE. This paper reports on the extension of research with objective testing into the provision of automated feedback for practical and essay questions. Development and testing of the feedback system is explained in the paper.
