Improving Student Engagement in Engineering Programmes

The academic community generally accepts that student learning improves as students become more engaged.

This paper reports on an investigation undertaken by course teams at the University of Ulster to better understand 'student engagement' with a view to establishing practical ways to improve the student learning experience.
