What have we learned?

This paper addresses the lessons learnt from the FDTL-5 Virtual Resource for Online Research Training project (V-ResORT) that illuminate ways in which a research process can be consciously used to develop a learning and teaching resource that is likely to be sustainable.
It makes reference to some of elements within the chapters on research and sustainability that we have written for the FDTL publication Learning from projects (Joyes et al, 2009; Banks et al, 2009).
