Final report
- Publication Date: 28-02-2011
In 2009/10, and as part of a joint programme of activity with Equality Challenge Unit (ECU), the HEA delivered a 12-month developmental change programme to support institutions in improving the degree attainment of their Black and minority ethnic (BME) students. This resource is a commentary on the outcomes of the programme and draws upon the experiences of 14 participating institutions as they seek to address what is widely acknowledged to be a very challenging agenda. It offers the sector ideas, strategies and examples of initiatives on how to better support BME students.
