Flying Start: Practices, communities and policies to ease the transition to university writing and assessment

This widening participation project takes a cross-sector approach to bridge the 'separate worlds' of writing and assessment at pre-university and undergraduate level and ease the transition between the two.

    Led by Liverpool Hope University

Developing learning and assessment opportunities for a complex world

This project seeks to identify aspects of dissonance and congruence in perceptions, understandings and expectations of staff, students and employers in relation to preparing students for employability in the 21st Century.

    Creating Academic Learning Futures (CALF)

CALF will explore trends, emerging issues and alternative futures in HE, with and for learning.

Creative Interventions: Valuing and assessing creativity in student work-related learning in the public and not-for-profit sectors

Led by the University of the Arts London

    Employability and disability

This project provides a sector wide initiative that will lead to enhanced graduate employability by equipping disabled students with skills to match employability competencies, and will help tackle discrimination in the workplace for disabled students on placement and for disabled graduates entering the workforce.
