Network of Deputy Vice Chancellors, Pro Vice Chancellors and Vice Principals

The PVC Network was established in 2004 for senior managers in Higher Education Institutions in the UK. It enables members to share successful strategies which enhance the quality of the student learning experience and the management of learning and teaching. The Network is convened by two members appointed from the group, and the Higher Education Academy provides the secretariat and coordinates meetings on their behalf.

The Network meets twice a year to discuss topical and strategic issues in a 'Chatham House rules' environment. Meetings are well-attended and feature key speakers from the sector with the opportunity for discussion and networking. Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are formed as the need arises. Please see below for notes of past meetings.

Individuals in relevant roles are welcome to attend PVC Network meetings. For enquiries regarding membership please contact us.

We also maintain a list of current sector consultations relevant to PVC Network members. This can be found on our Consultations page.
