In 2006 the Academy, the Centre for Recording Achievement (CRA) and QAA Scotland set up this forum to support institutions in implementing Personal Development Planning and e- Portfolio in Scotland. It complements the CRA's individual institutional support programme and other networks. The forum's aims are to:
- discuss areas of common interest
- share effective practice
- identify other forms of institutional level support
The most recent event on 29th June focussed around researching and evaluating PDP and e-portfolio practice and further developing the seven areas of common interest amongst groups of participants. Resources from past events are available to download below.
The next PDP forum meeting is being held on 13th October in Glasgow. This session will provide the opportunity to take forward work already begun on research and evaluation, though participation is not restricted to those who have been involved up to now! We have focal points for work around mentoring, student engagement, feedback from alumni, staff development and the value of reflection (for students and staff).
