Bookings open for HEA event: The role of disciplines in interdisciplinary learning and teaching

Tuesday, 27 January, 2015

The Higher Education Academy has opened bookings for the next in its series of enhancement events, to be held in Belfast on 5 March 2015.

The event, The role of disciplines in interdisciplinary learning and teaching, will provide an opportunity for delegates to share their experiences and perspectives of interdisciplinary education and the role of discipline teaching and learning within this.

Following the keynote speech delegates will be able to choose from workshops on topics such as pedagogical research in interdisciplinarity and developing interdisciplinary courses. The day will conclude with a provocative debate on the role of the disciplines in interdisciplinary learning and teaching.

Delegates may then tailor the rest of their day to their specific CPD requirements by choosing to attend two from a selection of workshops.

Alternatively delegates could attend one of two Accreditation, Reward and Recognition (ARR) master classes - Making internal recognition decisions or Developing accredited provision.

You can find out more about the event, and book your place here.

This event is part of the HEA’s enhancement event series.
