The Higher Education Academy (HEA) is delighted to announce it has achieved the milestone of 100,000 HEA Fellows. As the world’s largest single community for those engaged in higher education teaching and learning, the HEA is very proud of its global network of Fellows, who have been demonstrating their commitment to teaching, learning and student success for nearly 20 years.
To celebrate this fantastic achievement, the HEA is celebrating “Fellowship Week” , starting on Monday 12 March, where we will share stories to honour our HEA Fellows from around the world, across all four categories of Fellowship, from our first ever Fellow in 1999, right up to our 100,000th Fellow in 2018.
Packed full of inspirational accounts of how Fellowship has enhanced their teaching careers, we are looking forward to sharing stories from our Fellows from around the world throughout Fellowship Week.
HEA Acting Chief Executive, Professor Mark Jones said, “HEA Fellowship demonstrates commitment to learning and teaching and the student experience, as well as allowing academics to reflect on their own professional practice.
“We are extremely proud of our global network of Fellows and we are thrilled to be sharing stories about the impact they have had at universities all over the world during Fellowship Week.”
