As the national body for learning and teaching in higher education, the Higher Education Academy is at the heart of the debate about teaching excellence and how it can be assessed. Since July 2015, when the Minister of State for Universities and Science highlighted the imbalance that remains in research and teaching and announced the Government’s intentions to introduce a Teaching Excellence Framework, we’ve worked across the sector to ensure the sectors views are known.
