Dr Chris Willmott Middle National Teaching Fellow 2005 Chris is a Senior Lecturer in Biochemistry at the University of Leicester. In addition to work on study skills development (including education of student to avoid plagiarism), Chris has a particular interest in the teaching of bioethics. The principal focus during his Fellowship has been the establishment of Bioethicsbytes.wordpress.com, a searchable repository of resources for the use of multimedia in bioethics education. As well as use of television, news and film footage, Chris has involved students in the production of short films as an assessed component of second year modules.
Ms Josephine Margaret Webb Middle National Teaching Fellow 2005 Jo Webb is Head of Academic Services within the Department of Library Services at De Montfort University. She is responsible for library and learning services in support of learning, teaching and research. She is in charge of a large and diverse team including librarian liaison and subject support work with students, researchers and staff, and for central academic learning development support, including maths.
Professor Philip Vickerman Middle National Teaching Fellow 2005 Philip has a diverse range of roles within the Faculty of Education, Community and Leisure at Liverpool John Moores University. He leads research activity in Physical Education, Sport, Dance and Outdoor Education. He is part of the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning which focuses upon professional leadership and learning. Additional roles include acting as faculty Disability and Staff Development Co-ordinator.
