Symon Quy has worked in education for over twenty years, after gaining a first degree in English and Film at St. Mark and St. John, Plymouth. He qualified as a teacher of English at the University of Cambridge in 1991 before taking post in a west London comprehensive school, where he rose to Head of Department. He then went on to complete a Master’s degree in education at the University of London and an M. Ed in Research at the University of Cambridge, as the first platform of his doctorate.

Professor Plow den is Pro Vice-Chancellor at the University of Derby.
His main teaching interests lie in criminal process, human rights and clinical legal education. Before becoming Dean he was Director of the clinical law programmes in the Student Law Office, a unique experiential learning programme with an international reputation.

Tina Overton is Professor fo Chemistry Education at the University of Hull and Director of the Higher Education Academy’s Physical
Sciences Subject Centre. As Director of the Physical Sciences Subject Centre, she disseminates examples of good practice in the teaching of
the physical sciences, as well as encouraging colleagues to engage with continuing professional
development at a local and national level. She organises the national Chemistry education conference
