Postgraduates overwhelmingly positive about taught courses, but wellbeing raises concerns
Higher Education Academy’s (HEA) annual Postgraduate Graduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) attracts a record response rate
PTES 2017 shows that more than 82% of postgraduate taught students are satisfied with their programmes.
However, a new question in the survey about ‘retention vulnerability’ reveals that over 51% of students with a mental health condition reported that they had considered leaving or suspending their studies; whereas only 19% of students who do not classify themselves with a disability report similar sentiments.
