Curriculum Review and Development
The HEA offers institutions a process of robust, independent review using a flexible curriculum review matrix based on effective practice in curriculum design. The matrix is informed by the HEA Framework series responding to thematic drivers such as employability, retention and success, flexible learning, internationalisation and assessment for learning.
We have developed collaborative programmes where higher education providers come together to share and understand and address common issues and challenges.
These programmes involve an initial audit exercise to help you understand your issues in context as well as highlighting areas of concern. Networking, bespoke and targeted support will then develop your expertise in designing interventions that help inform your planning and development of your strategy and practice.
Workshops and Masterclasses
Workshops and masterclasses are focused on key thematic issues and strategic priorities and enable groups of your staff to develop effective practices for teaching and supporting learning. All are led by sector experts and are based on the latest best practice.
The HEA run both open workshops and masterclasses as well as in-house programmes which are adapted to school, faculty or institutional requirements.
