Following the success of two pilot schemes to support staff in their applications to become HEA Fellows, The University of Sydney has become an HEA Strategic Partner.
The pilots were the first part of a new initiative for the development of the University’s professional learning and recognition scheme. More than 30 teaching staff at different career stages successfully applied for one of the four categories of HEA Fellowship (Associate, Fellow, Senior, and Principal) through the pilots.
HEA Assistant Director - Professional Learning, Alison Robinson-Canham delivered a keynote address on approaches to professional learning and development at ANU (Australian National University) during a visit which also included an HEA Fellowship Forum and HEA Fellowship Reviewer training.
