Dr Ebtissam Al-Madi is the Founding Dean of the College of Dentistry in Princess Nora bint Abdul Rahman University. She has co-developed an innovative program for Dental Education in the school, and has supervised the development of faculty, clinics, and staff, from 2012-2017.
She is an Associate Professor and Consultant in Endodontics. She obtained her Masters of Dental Science and Certificate of Postgraduate Specialty Training in Endodontics from King Saud University in 2000. She also has Postgraduate Certification in Clinical Research from The American Academy of Continuing Medical Education in 2008, Biomedical Informatics from Oregon Health Sciences University in 2009, Teaching in Higher Education from the University College London Centre for Advancement of Learning and Health Profession Education in 2009, and Medical Education from Cardiff University in 2012.
She has many publications and has presented in national and international journals, and several ongoing research projects in endodontics, informatics, and dental education. She has served on the Editorial Board of Saudi Medical Journal and currently reviews for several national and international journals. She is the Founding Chair of the Internal Review Board (IRB) for Princess Noura University.
She is also the Founding President of the Saudi Dental Education Society, and served in the strategic planning and inception of the society.
