Nieke Campagne is Project manager Employability at Leiden University, The Netherlands. The project aims at improving the student’s transition process from education to graduate careers by developing a sustainable student employability model linked to life-long learning, citizenship and skills development. She has broad experience in student employability policy and strategies, graduate careers & program development, guidance and counselling, university-business cooperation, employability innovation/management and professional development of staff and students. Prior to her current role, Nieke worked as a recruiter, a manager of a recruitment agency for academic graduates and as a recruitment consultant, advising multinationals on HRM solutions in graduate recruitment. She studied Chinese languages and culture at Leiden University.
Nieke was Chair (2014-2016) and is currently Vice-Chair of the expert community on Employability within the European Association of International Education EAIE. She is member of the Dutch Working Group of Academic Career Guidance WASA and is registered at the Dutch Association for Career Professionals NOLOC.
