Assessment is in two stages.
Stage one application
All applications received by 12.00 noon on 21 July 2016 will be assessed by the CATE Panel against the set of eight criteria. Each criterion will be given equal weighting. Details of these criteria can be found in the CATE awards guidelines. Following the assessment, up to 30 teams will be long-listed.
Stage two application
The long-listed teams' applications, submitted by 15 September 2016, will be considered by Teaching Excellence Awards Panel against the 6 criteria. Each criterion will be given equal weighting. This panel will shortlist up to fifteen teams and from this short-list up to six teams will recieve a Collaborative Teaching Excellence Award.
