What happens after my nomination is assessed?

We will contact all nominees and their institutional representatives about the outcome of their applications by email, in November 2016.

To maximise publicity for the new NTFs and for the scheme, this information is confidential until the official announcement date, in December.

If your nomination is successful, we’ll invite you, your senior institutional manager and a personal guest to attend the awards dinner in early 2017.

We’ll ask you to update your personal profile and provide three high-quality photos (3MB miniumum) to help us and your institution to publicise your fellowship and to use in the awards ceremony brochure.

As an NTF you automatically become a member of the Association of National Teaching Fellows (ANTF), a community of like-minded individuals committed to championing innovation and sharing best practice.

You’ll be subscribed to the ANTF online community and will have the chance to be selected to serve on the Committee of the Association of National Teaching Fellows.

Nomination for NTF provides an opportunity to evaluate and enhance your teaching practice. We provide all nominees with feedback so they can see where the strengths and weaknesses of their applications lie.  We encourage unsuccessful nominees to reapply.  As nominations are judged against the pool of nominees for that year, improved nomination documents alone don’t guarantee future success.
