The Closing Attainment Gaps is a collaboration involving Advance HE and ten England-based universities or colleges. Each of the institutions involved:
- has a broad interest in equality of student outcomes,
- wishes to make progress towards closing degree-awarding gaps,
- appreciates the benefits of working in collaboration with others to ensure a valuable and successful HE journey for all student groups.
The group aims to achieve a deeper understanding of how degree-awarding gaps develop whether at the discipline, department, or institution level. Network days and bespoke support will develop expertise in designing & supporting interventions that are impactful and sustainable. Working together as a community of practice will aid understanding of issues in context as well as providing comparative insights and highlighting areas of concern.
This page will be updated as the project develops.
