Coaching for Senior Executives is a coaching offer for those responsible for leading the teaching and learning agenda within their institutions. The coaching will typically take place over a period of three to six months involving 6 sessions, ideally face to face or via Skype if participants are unable to atttend in person. Email and phone support will also be offered between sessions as agreed between the coach and the individual.
The HEA coaching programme for Senior Executives offers a unique selling point and distinctiveness through a specific focus on supporting and developing those with responsibility for leading learning and teaching. Coaching will be provided by experienced, qualified coaches who have sector expertise in teaching and learning and an understanding of the context and operating environment.
Available from September 2016, dates will be arranged to suit individual participants.

Who should attend?
Senior Executives who are leading the teaching and learning agenda in their HE Institution, Typically this would be aimed at Vice Chancellors, Deputy Vice Chancellors, Pro Vice Chancellors, Deans, Directors and Heads of Centres but is suitable for anyone with a cross institutional leadership role in learning and teaching or others on the senior leadership team.
Who is delivering the coaching?
The coaching will be delivered by an experienced team of HEA consultants in partnership with the Academic Lead for Staff Development.

If you have an established academic career with substantial strategic responsibilities in HE and you’re seeking to exert influence within the sector, an HEA Principal Fellowship could add great value to your professional teaching experience.
