We will be inviting four speakers to explore a critical, cross-sector issue and respond to questions from the floor during the 90 minute parliamentary-style debate. The debate topic for the event will be chosen by the sector and will be selected through crowdsourcing activities taking place in October 2016.

An experienced debate host will be managing proceedings, encouraging a lively and engaging exchange. The debate will provide an opportunity for guests to discuss a crucial learning and teaching issue with our expert panel. Two of the four speakers will debate in favour of the motion for the evening, whilst the opposing team will argue against it. The outcome of the debate will be decided by those in the room.
