The focus of this one day development session is to explore the rapidly changing landscape around the development of higher and degree apprenticeships. Participants are likely to have some experience of designing learning activities or programmes, and will be exploring opportunities to broaden their programme to incorporate modern apprenticeships.
This workshop is for academics responsible for the development, leadership and delivery of degree programmes, for example Programme Tutors, Subject Leaders, Heads of Department and other academics, particularly those who are currently developing or considering higher and degree apprenticeships.
The workshop will cover three topics:
- Understanding government, university and employer contexts for the development of higher and degree apprenticeships;
- Teaching excellence within higher and degree apprenticeships;
