Webinar: UKES Student Engagement Survey Results

Overview

Results from the 2017 HEA UKES Student Engagement Survey will be explored within this webinar.

UKES is designed to explore how students spend their time, focus their effort and develop their skills, all of which provides unique insight to help maximise what students get out of their time at university.

Following publication of the 2017 national report the webinar will provide an opportunity to explore the results further, with time for discussion and questions from attendees. Jonathan Neves, the author of the report, will be presenting the webinar.

Content outline

This webinar will consist of a 25-30 minute presentation from the HEA's Head of  Surveys, followed by an opportunity for delegates to pose questions or discuss their own experiences.

Student surveys are an important tool for understanding how students experience their courses, such as how engaged they feel by the teaching and how supported they are in their learning and development. Data from surveys can be used to identify areas of strength and weakness within an organisation – increasing the appeal of programmes to students and making a difference to learning outcomes.
